Eligibility Criteria for RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Recruitment

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates must have the requisite educational qualifications as specified for each post in Annexure-A of the notification. These qualifications must be obtained from a recognized board/university/institute by the closing date of application submission (February 16, 2025).

Age Limit:

  • The age limit varies depending on the post but generally falls between 18 to 33 years as of January 1, 2025. Age relaxations are applicable for reserved categories as per government norms.

Nationality:

The application fee structure is as follows:

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹500/- (₹400/- refundable upon appearing in CBT).
  • SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Economically Backward Class (EBC): ₹250/- (fully refundable upon appearing in CBT).

Selection Process for RRB Ministerial and Isolated Categories Recruitment

The selection process includes multiple stages to ensure a fair evaluation of candidates:

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
  • The CBT will consist of objective-type questions covering subjects like Professional Ability, General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Science.
  • Total Marks: 100
  • Duration: 90 minutes (120 minutes for PwBD candidates availing scribe services).
  • Negative Marking: Deduction of $$1/3^{rd}$$ marks for each incorrect answer.
